Speed Index とは？
Speed index とは、ページの内容が時間とともにどれだけ速く視覚的に埋まっていくかを捉えるパフォーマンス指標です。読み込みプロセスのフィルムストリップから計算され、ビューポートを段階的かつ早く埋めるページを、白いままで後から一度に現れるページよりも高く評価します。speed index は低いほど良いです。

speed index は、単一のマイルストーンではなく、ページの読み込みを見守る体感体験を反映します。CI で実行されるパフォーマンステストスイートで一般的なゲートです。
